Welcome to Rosliston's woodland magic
Rosliston Forestry Centre lies at the heart of The National Forest, a woodland haven offering outdoor activities, family fun and a range of events throughout the year.
Home to kestrels, owls, kingfishers and waterfowl as well as bats and butterflies during summer, Rosliston’s mix of woodland, meadow, fishing lake, waymarked walks, cycle routes and play areas is tailor-made for family fun.
A partnership between The Forestry Commission, The National Forest Company and South Derbyshire District Council, our story began with the planting of 120,000 trees between 1993 and 1997, creating a young woodland intertwined with the more mature trees in the hedgerows and Fox Covert.
Rosliston is a living forest just waiting to be explored. Uncover nature at its best.
